Ingredients:
Maida/flour-1.5 cup
Sugar-1 cup
Salt-A pinch
Vanilla essence-1tspn
Butter/Margarine -1stick (Softened )
Egg-1
Chocolate chips-1cup
Baking soda -1/2tspn
Method:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Cream together the butter/margarine, sugar, until smooth. Beat in the egg , then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour/maida and the chocolate chips.
- Drop the mixture on to the un-greased tray by large spoonfuls .
- Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
- Make sure the cookies are completely cooled down before storing them.
